About Ayurveda

Ayurveda holds that the human body is made of five elements, Aakash, Vayu, Agni, Jal and Prithvi, and that health, aarogya, is the state in which those five sit in balance. Illness is what happens when that balance is disturbed.

It is a 5,000-year-old science, and its method is to treat the cause rather than quiet the symptom. A person is considered healthy only when the body, the mind and the spirit are in alignment and every organ is working as it should.

That is the thinking our formulation team starts from. Classical ratios are respected where a classical formulation calls for them, and modern blends are built on the same logic, which is why we keep formulators on the floor rather than outsourcing the recipe.
